Flavour Network is a Canadian specialty television network launched by Corus Entertainment on December 30, 2024, replacing the original Food Network Canada position. The network focuses on food, lifestyle, and culinary programming, offering content tailored to Canadian audiences.[1]

History

[edit]

Flavour Network was introduced by Corus Entertainment alongside its sister network, Home Network, as part of the company's strategy to enhance lifestyle-oriented content within the Canadian market. The two networks were officially announced on September 18, 2024 (as part of the 2024 Canadian specialty television realignment), with Flavour Network catering to food enthusiasts and home cooks. The launch aimed to fill a niche in Canadian television by celebrating food culture and culinary inspiration.[2]
